On this last day at RSM, we wrapped up all our activities, fixing the roof and painting the room as well as the VBS. The message for the day was about the salvation of the little man Zacchaeus.(Luke 19:1-10) And for the craft, we made cross necklaces with colorful bids with children. A wooden cross was put at the center and matching colored bids on both sides of the cross. The order of colored bids and the meaning of each color were as follow: Yellow-light of the world, Jesus, Black-the sinful world, Red-the blood of Jesus, White-clean heart that was washed by blood of Jesus, Green-growing faith, Blue-heaven where we can live forever with Jesus, Purple-King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus. I thought, the famous Bible verse “For God so love the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) was well explained by this activity. “Yes, Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so.” The puppets sang more loudly with bigger and happier motions on this very last day at RSM.
